Apex Response provides first aid and medical support services to clients across events, festivals, workplaces, and remote sites. Personnel engaged as Medical First Responders (MFRs) are responsible for providing immediate care to injured or unwell persons until higher levels of medical care become available.
Medical First Responders may be required to operate in dynamic or high-risk environments where incidents can occur suddenly and without warning. They are responsible for rapidly assessing patients, providing appropriate first aid and medical interventions within their scope of practice, and coordinating with emergency services where escalation of care is required.
The role of a Medical First Responder carries significant responsibility, as personnel are often the first point of clinical contact for patients during an emergency. This may include managing life-threatening conditions such as cardiac arrest, severe bleeding, respiratory emergencies, trauma, and other acute medical presentations.
Due to the clinical responsibility associated with this role, all Apex Response Medical First Responders must maintain appropriate qualifications, competency in patient assessment and treatment, and strict adherence to Apex Response clinical guidelines, scope of practice, and operational procedures.

Firefighters may be required to respond to developing fire incidents, manage hazards, assist with evacuation procedures, and take appropriate action to protect life, property, and the surrounding environment. In some circumstances, firefighters may be required to remain in or operate near hazardous areas in order to control emerging risks and prevent escalation until emergency services arrive.
Due to the elevated level of risk associated with this role, all Apex Response firefighters must maintain appropriate qualifications, operational competency, and strict adherence to safety procedures, training standards, and incident command protocols.
